Ormond RuMa Group Talent Programme - Management Programme(Hospitality)
The Ormond RuMa Group Talent Programme is designed for fresh graduates and early career professionals who are ready to build a career in hospitality leadership.
Over 24 months, you will rotate across departments, properties, and even countries. From The Chow Kit to The RuMa, and potentially Japan, you will gain hands-on experience across the business while working on real projects that impact operations and guest experience.
This is a full-time, paid programme created to fast-track your development into a future leader within the group. Along the way, you will receive mentorship from senior leaders while gaining exposure to how hospitality businesses are built and run.
What Will You Do?
As part of the Ormond RuMa Group Talent Programme, you will gain hands-on exposure to how hospitality businesses operate across different departments and properties.
Throughout the 24-month programme, you will rotate across key operational and selected corporate functions while working closely with experienced leaders across the group.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Rotating across departments such as Rooms, Food & Beverage, Guest Experience, and selected corporate functions to understand how the business operates end to end
- Supporting daily hotel operations and learning how service, operations, and commercial performance come together
- Assisting department leaders with operational tasks, reporting, and ongoing projects
- Working on cross-department initiatives that improve guest experience and operational efficiency
- Gaining exposure to different properties within the group, including The Chow Kit, The RuMa, and selected international assignments where applicable
- Learning how to analyse operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service and profitability
- Participating in structured learning sessions, leadership discussions, and mentoring sessions with senior management
- Taking ownership of selected projects and presenting recommendations to leadership teams
- Developing a strong understanding of Asian hospitality and the service culture that defines the Ormond brand
By the end of the programme, you will have developed a strong operational foundation and be ready to step into supervisory or leadership roles within the group.
