What Will You Do?
As Assistant F&B Manager, you will support the F&B Manager in running the day-to-day operation of the outlet, keeping the team ready, and ensuring a consistent guest experience. You are expected to be present on the floor, hands-on with service, and reliable in holding standards across your shift. This role is about doing the work well, supporting the team, and stepping up when it counts.
Broadly, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the F&B Manager in running the day-to-day outlet operation and ensuring service flows smoothly across all shifts
- Being present and active on the floor during service, setting a good example for the team in terms of attitude, cleanliness, and urgency
- Assisting with shift briefings, daily deployment, and making sure the team is ready and in position before service begins
- Supporting guest satisfaction by attending to feedback and complaints during service, and escalating to the manager when needed
- Coordinating with the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth communication, timely delivery, and consistent food quality
- Assisting in monitoring wastage, stock movement, and daily sales, and flagging irregularities to the manager promptly
- Supporting stock ordering, receiving, and inventory checks, and ensuring items are stored and recorded correctly
- Following procedures for cash handling, billing, and daily reporting accurately and consistently
- Upholding hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards on the floor and back-of-house at all times
- Helping to coach and guide junior team members on service standards, product knowledge, and daily tasks
- Supporting the manager in onboarding new team members and providing feedback on team performance when asked
- Keeping the F&B Manager informed of any operational issues, guest concerns, or team matters that arise during the shift
- Flagging gaps or recurring issues in daily operations to the manager and suggesting practical improvements where possible

You should be someone who takes operations seriously and shows up ready to lead. Someone who can hold the floor, support the team, and keep things running well even on a busy shift.
This role suits someone who is energetic, dependable, and eager to grow. You should be comfortable on the floor, quick to respond to guest needs, and confident enough to step in and make decisions when the manager is not around.
To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume service environment
- Has solid experience in food and beverage operations, ideally within a hotel or high-volume service environment
- Is confident managing outlet operations and leading teams across different shifts
- Understands how to balance guest experience with cost control and operational discipline
- Is strong in people management, service delivery, and problem-solving
- Pays attention to detail and takes hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety seriously
- Communicates clearly and professionally in English
- Is practical, grounded, and willing to step in wherever needed
- Works with urgency, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership
