What Will You Do?
As an F&B Assistant, you will support the daily food and beverage operations to ensure a smooth and pleasant dining experience for students, staff, and visitors.
Your responsibilities include:
- Greet customers, present menus, and explain daily/weekly specials to students, faculty members, parents and perform upselling.
- Answer questions related to menu that we offered.
- Take food and beverage orders from students.
- Providing food and beverage to students and perform cashiering at each of the assigned counter.
- Prepare cutleries especially only for MINUM, ES Café & event setup.
- Prepare itemized bills and take payments from students/teachers.
- Set up canteen counter, dining areas, refill condiments, and stock replenishment.
- Clean drink preparation areas, facilities, or equipment. Such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up server station, taking out garbage.
- Ensure cleanliness of food service areas.
- Communicate well with the team to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction. Provide students / teacher with food allergen information or assistance.
- Prepare hot or cold beverages.
- Be able to multi task in facilities to include all MSHS Canteen Operation, MINUM, ES Café, and Event.
- Performs any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Operation Manager or Management
Who Must You Be?

- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, reliable, and attentive to detail.
- Comfortable interacting with students, staff, and members of the school community.
- Able to communicate in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Previous experience in food & beverage service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid Typhoid Vaccination Certificate and Food Handling Certificate in accordance with Malaysian food safety regulations
