What Will You Do?
As the Food & Beverage Manager at Tune KLIA, you will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence and delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will be hands-on, actively involved in daily operations, and responsible for leading a high-performing F&B team in a fast-paced airport hotel environment. Your main responsibilities include:
- Oversee all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring they are delivered within budget and in line with the hotel’s service standards
- Maintain excellent levels of service for both internal and external guests
- Develop innovative and appealing menus, manage purchasing, and continuously improve offerings
- Proactively identify guest needs and address feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B team through recruitment, training, performance management, and coaching
- Establish and monitor targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Foster open communication, teamwork, and a culture of ownership within the department
- Ensure full compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Regularly review product quality and service delivery to maintain brand standards
- Act as the departmental duty manager for special events and functions
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team and the Food & Beverage Head to manage customer communications and event coordination
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, productivity, and operational results
- Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues
Who Must You Be?
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven leader with strong experience in food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities and qualifications:
- Proven experience in Food & Beverage management
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and restaurant management systems (POS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions
- High level of spoken and written English
- Confident, enthusiastic, and highly communicative
- Knowledgeable about current food and beverage trends and industry best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and achieve financial targets
- Guest-focused with a passion for service excellence
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Willing to be based at Sepang and operate across Tune Hotel properties when required
