What Will You Do?
As part of the Finance team, you will support the day to day financial operations of the property while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager, you will help maintain accurate financial records, support reporting processes, and ensure the property meets its statutory and financial obligations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparation of group-level financial reports, including monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Support consolidation of multiple entities, ensuring intercompany balances are reconciled
- Review submissions from business units to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Assist in preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Oversee and support full sets of accounts across entities
- Ensure timely closing, journal entries (accruals, prepayments), and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and intercompany balances across entities
- Review bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved
- Support audits processes by preparing schedules, reconciliations and audit documentation
- Ensure compliance with SST, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strengthen internal controls and drive improvements or digitalisation in finance processes
- Liaise with internal teams, auditors, and external parties to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting
- Support finance transformation projects and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and financial visibility
Who You Must Be
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in audit, financial reporting, group finance, or accounting roles
- Candidates with external audit, IPO, financial due diligence, consolidation, or listed company reporting exposure are highly encouraged to apply
- Worked in a Public Listed Company (PLC) or Berhad (Bhd.)
- Exposure to MFRS/IFRS, multi-entity reporting, or listed company environments will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
