For Rachel, hospitality has always been about people and the privilege of being part of their moments, whether it is a holiday, a birthday, an anniversary or a wedding. It was this human side of the industry that first made her fall in love with it. The unpredictability of hotel operations, and the constant tinkering and problem-solving that come with it, have kept her learning and growing ever since. Today, as Chief Operating Officer of Ormond Group, Rachel oversees the Group’s hotel operations while still holding on to what drew her to hospitality in the first place: creating experiences that people remember. To unwind, Rachel loves a good gaming session or a movie, and she is always on the lookout for the next concert or gig to catch.
