What Will You Do?
As part of the Finance team, you will support the day to day financial operations of the property while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager, you will help maintain accurate financial records, support reporting processes, and ensure the property meets its statutory and financial obligations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing full sets of accounts, including monthly management reports
- Preparing monthly reconciliations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Ensuring financial reports are completed accurately and within reporting deadlines
- Preparing and submitting monthly SST, including reconciliation and support during SST audits
- Supporting internal and external audits by responding to audit queries and preparing required documentation
- Maintaining proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Handling tax compliance matters including tax filings, tax queries, and tax payments
- Managing banking matters including deposits and banking related applications
- Maintaining and monitoring the accounting system to ensure accurate financial data
- Assisting in identifying and resolving operational issues or discrepancies related to accounting
- Liaising with bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Who You Must Be
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
- You are familiar with Malaysian Accounting Standards and the Income Tax Act.
- Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience will have an advantage, and ACCA qualification is a plus. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
