What Will You Do?
You are the lifeblood of the company, tasked with making sure we have the right people in place to realise our vision of becoming the best hospitality group in Asia. As a candidate’s first point of contact with the company, you will embody the culture and values that drive this company forward. We view ourselves as a scrappy start-up and as a vital member of the team, you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Broadly, responsibilities as part of this role include:
- 360° Recruitment - You will manage the full recruitment cycle end to end. This includes understanding hiring needs with department heads, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating interview processes, managing candidate communication, and supporting hiring managers through to the final hiring decision and offer stage. Your role is to ensure we bring in the right people who can support the day to day operations of the Group.
- Talent Performance & KPI Alignment - Work with department heads to ensure employees understand their KPIs and role expectations. Support managers in tracking performance, especially during probation.
- Employee File Management - Ensure all employee personal files are complete, updated, and compliant with company requirements, including employment contracts and statutory documentation.
- Probation & Confirmation Process - Track probation timelines and coordinate confirmation reviews with department heads to ensure proper evaluation and documentation.
- Training & Development Needs - Work with managers to identify training needs within teams and support the coordination of relevant training programmes.
- Internal Employer Branding - Communicate open roles internally and promote opportunities for internal mobility within the organisation.
Who Must You Be?
You are the social networker with a natural gift for persuasion and an uncanny ability to sniff out outstanding talents. You ideally have a background in a start-up environment and take pride in being an integral part of a lean, results-driven team.
To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- You have around 2 to 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, and you believe that hiring the right people truly makes a difference to how a team performs.
- You enjoy speaking with people. Whether it is a fresh graduate or an experienced professional, you are comfortable having conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and understanding what motivates someone.
- You understand that recruitment is very similar to sales. You represent the organisation to candidates, and you are able to communicate clearly, build interest, and help the right people see why they should join us.
- You are organised and dependable. Recruitment involves coordinating with different departments, managing timelines, and following through on details so that nothing falls through the cracks.
- You have good judgement when assessing people, but you also approach it with curiosity and openness. You know that great hires are not always obvious on paper.
- Most importantly, you care about building strong teams that support the business, and you take pride in helping people find the right place to grow their careers.
